In 1992, while pastoring a church in Brooklyn, New York, the Lord began to stir in the heart of Pastor Daniel Donzelli that He was going to move him and his family. Both Pastor Dan and his wife, Norma, began to seek God for his direction. When God’s direction to move up to the Albany area became confirmed, God gave Pastor Dan the scripture:
Isaiah 55: 12
“For you will go out with joy and be lead forth with peace. The mountains and the hills will break fourth into shouts of joy before you. And the trees of the field will clap their hands. Instead of the thorn bush, the cypress will come up..and intead of the nettle the myrtle will come up. And it will be a memorial to the Lord. For an everlasting sign which will not be cut off.”
After the Donzelli family relocated, God directed and confirmed for them to purchase an old bar located on Foster Avenue in Schenectady and renovate it for a church. Shortly after the renovation the Little Flock Christian Church was opened. The Donzelli’s then received this word from the Holy Spirit:
2 Corinthians 3: 5-6
“Not that we are adequate in ourselves to consider anything as coming from ourselves, but our adequacy is from God who also made us adequate as servants of a new covenant, not of the letter, but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.”
In October of 2013, the Lord once again confirmed to Pastor Dan and Norma, that it would be a good thing for the church to relocate. Trusting that his adequacy is from God, Pastor Dan and Norma have moved forth and continue to shephard the Little Flock Church currently located at 105 Mohawk Avenue in Scotia, NY.
